Good Earth Beauty is both an online retailer of carefully curated natural and organic, vegan and cruelty-free health and beauty products as well as an eco-friendly and cruelty-free product brand. The Good Earth Beauty brand is newly created by Founder Karen Ostrach, who originally created her website so that people could “shop with a clear conscience”. The idea was born after Karen was on a quest to find natural remedies for her daughter’s eczema and she came across many lesser known but effective sustainably-minded brands and products. Her original mission was to showcase these emerging sustainably-minded brands, most of which also sell USA-made products. In addition to advocating support for conscience-driven companies, she then created her own brand which served as a hallmark of this example. Good Earth Beauty products are made from natural ingredients and essential oils and the products and their ingredients are not tested on animals. Nearly all products are vegan with the exception of use of honey and beeswax in select skin and lip products. All products are free of parabens, pesticides, petroleum, propylene glycol, phthalates, sulfates and artificial colors and fragrances.
